Alexey Knelz appointed as head of communications at CREON Group
CREON Group continues to grow: Alexey Knelz (39) took over the management of the communication of the investment and management company on February 1st, 2020. As a managing director of the CommunicationZ agency, he and his team are responsible for both the group’s internal and external communication. Knelz will expand the agency’s market position as a specialist for PR, GR, marketing and event management. In addition, his team will further develop the ESG rating with the WWF.
Knelz has previously been working for the German-Russian Chamber of Commerce (AHK) in Moscow as a head of communication, he digitalized and realigned the AHK from October 2016 to December 2019. With a journalist degree of Lomonosov Moscow State University Knelz also used to work in leading positions as editor-in-chief and publisher for Russian and German-language media. He started his career at Mercedes-Benz in Russia in 2005 as an assistant to the head of research and development.
Alexey Knelz reports to board member Florian Willershausen, who is now concentrating more on the implementation of investment projects in renewable energies, logistics and green financing, while also representing the fund management company Creon Capital.
